2022 T-Ball & Rookie Important Information

T-Ball & Rookie Important Information:

Ages: Pre-K (must be kindergarten eligible by fall 2022) through 3rd grade. 3rd graders are also eligible to play at the competitive Minors level if they choose. You must choose Rookies or Minors at registration if you have a 3rd grader. T-Ball and Rookies are considered instructional levels and there are no evaluations at this level.

Our season is dependent on volunteer coaches. If we do not get enough volunteers we will not be able to field teams. Please volunteer! If you coach your player’s team, that’s a guarantee your player’s team will have a coach

Important Tentative Dates:
November 23rd: registration opens! Register here https://www.forestgroveyouthbaseball.com/

Registration closes: March 13th

Week of March 29th: notification will be sent out regarding team assignments & practice schedules.

Week of April 5th: practices begin.

Week of April 19th: games begin.

Week of May 24th: this will be the last week of games, however, if we have a lot of rainouts this season, we may play the week of May 31st.

Uniforms: Information on how to order your player’s uniform will be communicated via your child's coach.

Communication: Most communication will come via email. PLEASE DO NOT OPT OUT of our communication. Communication is ran through Dick’s Sporting Goods/Blue Sombrero. If you opt out we can’t send you emails. If you are not getting our emails please let us know right away because you most likely opted out at some point.

Once coaches are assigned, communication will flow through coaches.
