FGYB is working with Gear Up Sports to supply uniforms for all FGYB teams.
Why the change? Gear Up Sports is a local company that has partnered with Nike to supply uniforms to youth sports teams at a reduced rate and help alleviate a time-consuming task of uniform ordering for youth sports organizations. Using Gear Up Sports, FGYB can provide a higher quality uniform to our players at a comparable cost, while giving parents & players more control over uniform sizing. Forest Grove Little League Softball, Forest Grove Little Guy Football and over half of JBO Westside baseball teams are utilizing Gear Up Sports for uniforms.
Parents/Players are responsible for purchasing their uniforms directly from Gear Up Sports once assigned to a team in mid to late March. As a result, FGYB registration fee has been reduced to accommodate the uniform cost. *Hats will be provided by FGYB for all levels.
Rookies/T-Ball will only be able to order shirts through Gear Up Sports. Baseball pants/socks/belts will be optional and purchased individually. T-Ball players are not required to have baseball pants.
Registration and uniform ordering are now done in two separate steps (registration and uniform ordering). Parents will pay FGYB a registration fee and at a later date will purchase uniforms online through Gear Up Sports. Your player’s coach will provide the information required to order uniforms via email. Parents are responsible for choosing sizes and the uniform will be shipped directly to your home or chosen shipping address. Any sizing issues, fan gear and additional uniform purchases are done directly through Gear Up Sports.

T-Ball / Rookie Registration and Uniform Ordering Process:
· Register your player online at FGYB website (https://www.forestgroveyouthbaseball.com)
· Upon close of registration, teams and coaches will be assigned.
· All FGYB teams will be uploaded to a FGYB/Gear Up Sports website.
· Head Coaches will provide all parents/players the Gear Up Sports website address and the team name to use in the website Team drop down menu.
· Parents/Players will go to the Gear Up Sports website, select their team in the Team drop down menu. Once in the correct team drop down, you will choose your players mandatory uniform pack. Additional jersey and fan apparel can be purchased with the mandatory uniform pack.
o Choose your players uniform sizes and number. Note: Numbers are first come first serve and only available numbers will be shown.
o Hats are sized and distributed by FGYB and will be provided prior to the first game.
· Once order is confirmed, the uniform will be shipped directly to the parent/player’s house in approximately 2 weeks.
· Rookies will need to purchase black pants.
· Parents/Players will be responsible for optional uniform pieces: pants (t-ball), belt, and socks.
JBO Player Registration and Uniform Ordering Process:
· Register your player online at FGYB website (https://www.forestgroveyouthbaseball.com)
· Player attends evaluations.
o At evaluations there will be a uniform station to determine sizes.
o Player will receive a sizing card for uniform ordering at tryouts.
· After evaluations, teams and coaches will be assigned.
· All FGYB teams will be uploaded to a FGYB/Gear Up Sports website.
· Head Coaches will provide all parents/players the Gear Up Sports website address and the team name to use in the website Team drop down menu.
